To determinewhetherthecostsareunreasonable,thecostsincurredbyoneformofremedymustbe
significantlyhigherthanthecostscorrespondingtotheotherformofremedy.
Inaddition,theconsumermaychoosebetweenrequestingareductioninthepriceorterminatingthe
contract,ifheisnotentitledtodemandtherepairorreplacementoftheproductandwheneverthese
actionswouldnotbecompletedwithinareasonabletimeframeandwouldcausemoreinconvenience
totheconsumeranduser.However,theterminationshallnottakeplacewherethelackofconformityis
minor.
Boththerepairandthereplacementoftheproductasresultoftheproduct ’ slackofconformityshallbe
freeofchargefortheconsumeranduser,includinglabourandmaterials.
Inanycase,repairsunderwarrantyshallbecarriedoutbySUNSTECH ’ sOfficialTechnicalAssistance
Serviceoritsauthorizeddistributors.
3.Conditionsforthewarrantytobeexercised
To exercisethelegalandcommercialwarranty,itisnecessarytosubmitdocumentaryevidenceshowing
thedeliveryand/orpurchasedateoftheproduct,whethertheinvoice,receipt,deliverysliporsealedand
datedwarrantycard.Documentswhichhavebeentamperedwithorfalsifiedwillnotbeaccepted.
TheconsumershallcontactSUNSTECH ’ sCustomerServiceTeamusingthewebsite(underthesupport
section)andwillbeinformedaboutwhatactiontotake.Atthattime,theconsumershallhavetoprovide
acleardescriptionofthemalfunctionorthelackofconformityoftheproductwiththecontract.
Inanycase,repairsunderthewarrantyshallbecarriedoutbySUNSTECH ’ sOfficialTechnicalAssistance
ServicesoritsauthorizeddistributorssothatSUNSTECHcanbeheldresponsibleunderthelegaland/or
commercialwarranty.
4.Exceptions
Thewarrantydoesnotforeseeorincludeperiodicmaintenanceorproductinstallationrevisions.
Inaddition,theproductwillnotbeconsideredaslackingconformityinrelationtothecontractand
therefore,itwillnotbecoveredbythelegalorcommercialwarrantywhen:
•Thelackofconformitycorrespondstoadiscrepancywiththesafetystandardsorthelocalornational
techniquesofadifferentcountrytotheoneitwasoriginallydesignedandproducedin;
•Thisproductoranyofitsidentificationfeatures(numberofseries,etc.)havebeenpartiallyor
completelyopened,assembled,unassembled,handledand/orrepairedbyaperson
notpartof

’ sOfficialTechnicalAssistanceServicesteamoritsauthorizeddistributors
•Thelackofconformityisaresultofanincorrectinstallation(exceptiftheinstallationhasbeen
carriedoutbyoneofSUNSTECH ’ sauthorizedsellersorunderitsresponsibility,orbytheconsumer
followingSUNSTECH ’ sinstallationinstructions)oranabusiveorinadequateuseoftheproduct,
includingbutnotlimitedto,ausagethatisnotinaccordancetothenormalpurposeoftheproduct
orthedirectionsforuseandmaintenance,asdefinedbySUNSTECH;
•Thelackofconformityhasbeencausedbyacomputervirus,anactionoramanipulationof
passwords,softwareinstallation,manipulationorreinstallation,etc.;
