TheOperationsandMaintenanceTerminal(OMT)softwarerunsonallofthedevicesintheCrossFiresystem.The
interfacetotheOMTisWebOMT.WebOMTisbasedonawebbrowserandiscompatiblewithmostcommonbrowsers
suchasIEandGoogleChrome.WebOMTiscustomizedfortheCrossFireandisusedforquery,debuggingand
configuration.
AnNMScanonlyconnecttotheMasterAU,thereforetheMasterAUisknownasthehost.However,tomaintainthe
CrossFiresystemlocally,atechniciancanaccessthewholesystemthroughanyoneofthedevicesintheCrossFiresystem
(MasterorSlaveAU,EUorRU).Forexample,thetechnicianmayconnectalaptoptotheRU,logintotheWebOMTand
querytheDAStopology.ThedevicenameonthetopologydiagramisaURLlinktotheWebOMTontheselecteddevice.
Therefore,byclickingonthedevice ’ sname,thetechniciancanaccessanyotherdeviceeasily,regardlessofwhich
device ’ sWebOMTtheyinitiallyloggedinto.

ThedefaultIPaddressoftheAUis10.7.3.200,whiletheslaveshavenofixedIPaddress.TheIPaddressesofthe
slavesareassignedbythehostautomatically,basedonthenetworktopology.
To setupwiredaccesstotheOMT,usethefollowingprocedure:
