on,theopticalinterfaceindicatorLEDwillturngreen,whichindicatesthatthedevicesaresynchronized.Iftheoptical
indicatorLEDdoesnotturngreen,checkwhethertheconnectiondirectionoftheopticalfibreiscorrectandwhetherthe
opticalmoduleisinsertedtightly.
The
AU1”and
AU2”opticalportsareforconnectingtotheslaveAU.
WhenconnectingtotheslaveAU,firstaccesstheslaveAUindependently(seeSection2.2forinstructionsonhowto
accesstheWebOMTfortheSlaveAU).EnsurethestatusoftheAUis“SlaveAU”andthenconnecttheopticalfibre.

TheconnectionbetweentheMasterAUandtheSlaveAUcanonlybefromtheOP1/AUportontheSlaveAU
totheAU1(orAU2)portontheMasterAU;otheropticalportsareinvalidforMaster-SlaveAUconnections.
