9. Pairing with a Bluetooth® mobile phone
This procedure pairs your Bluetooth® mobile phone with the SCS kit. It must
be done the first time you use your phone with the kit that will be detected as
a normal earpiece.
Proceed as follows:
With the device switched off, press the ON button and keep it pressed •
for 8 seconds (a triple high-pitched tone is emitted) to enter the phone
pairing mode
Add a Bluetooth® device on your phone (see the phone’s instruction •
manual)
The phone will show the devices detected, select SuomyCom (or the •
name you set using the configurator)
The phone will require a password, enter • 0000 and press OK
If the pairing is successful, you will hear a tone of confirmation•
NOTE: some phones do not connect automatically after entering the code
0000. In this case, proceed in one of the following ways:
Press (medium) the ON button and •
Proceed with the connection as shown in the user’s manual of the phone •
via the Bluetooth® menu of your phone
