NOMADNOMADNOMADN TM GB FEATURES 4 The inner part can be totally removed. It is made of hypoallergenic fabric with anti-bacteria Sanitized ® treatment. All the parts in contact with the face are easily washable. Lateral Cheek pads, inter-changeable and available in various thicknesses to offer a better fit around the face. The NOMAD ventilation system along with the particular shape (Suomy patent) of the internal polystyrene shell optimizes outside and inside airflows, fed by three air intakes.

Dieser Druckknopf befindet sich an einer völlig freien, erreichbaren Stelle und lässt sich problemlos und bequem, sogar mit Handschuhen, öffnen.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN TM GENERAL RULES 6 For maximum safety, NOMAD must fit tightly and be correctly and securely fastened, so it cannot be GB taken off neither by pulling it nor by rotating it around the head (see figure 1). If it is too big it may slide down over your eyes or turn in a lateral direction due to movement during riding. Do not use scarves or neck guards, which could make the strap slide and the helmet fly off in case of crash.
NOMADNOMADNOMAD 7 NORMES GENERALES LLGEMEINNORMEN NORME GENERALI NORMAS GENERALES TM Zum entsprechenden Schutz, muss der NOMAD-Sturzhelm perfekt sitzen und korrekt und straff geschlosD sen sein, der Helm darf sich weder unter Kraftaufwand noch durch Drehung vom Kopf abziehen lassen (sh. Bild 1). Ist er zu groß rutscht er bis über die Augen nach vorn oder verdreht sich seitlich während des Fahrens und verhindert dadurch eine korrekte Sichtweise.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN TM USE AND MAINTENANCE 8 GB Only use original Suomy accessories and spare parts or those specifically indicated by Suomy for the specific model: this is the only way to assure reliability, safety and compatibility with the helmet used. H The use of non-original components and/or accessories shall void the warranty void (see warranty conditions on page. 28) and can affect the safety requirements.

Pull until the strap fits tightly around the jaw.

Am Endstück ziehen bis der Riemen straff gegen das Kinn drückt; der Helm darf sich nun nicht mehr abziehen lassen.

Nach der Regulierung der Riemenlänge sicherstellen, dass die lose Riemenlasche E korrekt im Schnallenband positioniert ist. H Die Lockerungslasche nur zum Abziehen des Helms verwenden! Nie beim Fahren betätigen.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN TM GB USER'S INSTRUCTIONS 14 CENTRAL AIR INTAKE - OPERATION - (see figure 4) The airflow coming in from the top part of the helmet can be adjusted by using the lever A on the top part of the air intake: - Position B: lever in the center; from the side rotate the lever until it clicks in the central position – air intake completely closed.
NOMADNOMADNOMAD 15 MODE D’EMPLOI GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGEN GB ISTRUZIONI D’USO INSTRUCCIONES DE USO TM SIDE AIR INTAKES - OPERATION - (see figure 5) The upper air intakes can be rotated by 360° and kept in the optimal position so that the airflow can be adjusted according to the conditions of use. In any position the air intake is completely open, the airflow is adjusted only in relation to the direction of movement. Two lock positions are possible in the two directions.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN TM GB USER'S INSTRUCTIONS 16 CENTRAL AND SIDE AIR INTAKES - REPLACING - (see figure 6) Removing the intakes The air intakes are fixed to the shell with two-way adhesive tape, to remove them just life them on one side and pull. If they are difficult to remove, use a tool (for ex. a screwdriver). Slide it in the air intake holes and lever on the shell. During this operation protect the helmet from the tool using a cloth so it does not damage or scratch the painted layer.
NOMADNOMADNOMAD 17 MODE D’EMPLOI GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGEN I ISTRUZIONI D’USO INSTRUCCIONES DE USO TM PRESE D'ARIA CENTRALE E LATERALI - SOSTITUZIONE - (vedi figura 6) Rimozione Le prese d'aria sono fissate alla calotta per mezzo di nastro biadesivo, per rimuoverle è sufficiente sollevarle da un lato e tirare con decisione. Nel caso la rimozione sia difficile è possibile utilizzare un attrezzo (p.es un cacciavite) infilandolo nei fori di ingresso dell'aria e facendo leva sulla calotta.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN TM E USER'S INSTRUCTIONS 18 TOMAS DE AIRE CENTRALES Y LATERALES - SUSTITUCIÓN - (vea la figura 6) Extracción Las tomas de aire están fijadas al casquete mediante una cinta adhesiva por ambos lados. Para quitarlas, sólo debe levantar de un lado y tirar enérgicamente. En el caso de que la extracción resulte complicada, se puede utilizar una herramienta (por ejemplo un destornillador) que se inserte sobre los orificios de entrada de aire y haga palanca sobre el casquete.

Inner central padding: INNER SHELL - Assembly and disassembly - (see figure 7) The inner shell is fixed to the helmet through 4 press-studs. A. Removing the shell: Snap open the press-studs A and remove the inner shell.

Zentrale Innenausstattung: INNENSCHALE -Demontage und Montage – (siehe Bild 7) Die Innenschale ist am Helm mit 4 Druckknöpfen A befestigt. Demontage: Druckknöpfe aufmachen A und die Innenschale herausnehmen. H Achtung: damit die Innenschale nicht beschädigt wird, sicherstellen, dass alle Druckknöpfe tatsächlich aufgemacht sind.
NOMADNOMADNOMAD 21 MODE D’EMPLOI GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGEN GB ISTRUZIONI D’USO INSTRUCCIONES DE USO TM PADDING CHEEK PADS - Removing the fabric lining - (see figure 9) Removing the cheek pads: Lift the shaped plastic strap on the back part of the cheek pad, until the Velcro closure is completely detached A. Slide out the fabric lining from the padding. Fitting the pads: Fit the lining on the padding starting from one of the ends, and then fit it on the opposite side.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN USER'S INSTRUCTIONS TM GB 22 VISOR H The visor must be cleaned and controlled. If the visor is dirty and/or has bad scratches on the surface there could be unusual light reflections or deviations, which may jeopardize safety. Immediately replace the visor if there are such problems. How to operate - (see figure 10) Use the lower and upper edges of the visor to open.

Appuyer sur la couverture de façon à ce qu’elle adhère à la visière et que la languette U soit introduite dans le mécanisme d’actionnement (voir figure 11H).

Schmutz und/oder tiefe Kratzer auf dessen Oberfläche können unregelmäßige oder abweichende Lichtreflexe verursachen und die Lenksicherheit beeinträchtigen. Werden solche Defekte festgestellt, das Visier unverzüglich austauschen. Betätigung: – (siehe Bild 10) Visier nur mit unterem oder oberem Rand betätigen.
NOMADNOMADNOMAD 25 MODE D’EMPLOI GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGEN E ISTRUZIONI D’USO INSTRUCCIONES DE USO TM PANTALLA H La pantalla se debe limpiar y comprobar periódicamente. La presencia de suciedad o de ralladuras profundas en la superficie de la pantalla puede ocasionar reflejos luminosos anómalos o imperfecciones ópticas, que pueden disminuir la seguridad de la conducción. Sustituya inmediatamente la pantalla en caso de encontrar tales defectos.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN USER'S INSTRUCTIONS TM GB 26 VISOR Adjustment: - (see figure 11.G) After replacing the part, or if after using the helmet for a long time there should be infiltration from the visor when it is completely closed, it may be necessary to adjust the mechanisms of the visor. This adjustment operation must be performed even if there is infiltration from the sides of the visor when it is completely closed.

Portare la visiera in posizione completamente chiusa. Premere inizialmente sulla parte frontale e successivamente sui lati, in modo che il bordo visiera aderisca per tutta la sua lunghezza alla visiera stessa.
NOMADNOMADNOMADN WARRANTY TM GB 28 WARRANTY Conditions The warranty is valid from the purchasing date of the product and must be proven by the receipt (invoice, receipt or any document that unequivocally identify the purchasing date), issued by the person who sold the item. The interventions carried out under warranty do not extend the duration of the warranty which is still of two years from the purchasing date.

NOMADNOMADNOMADN WARRANTY TM GB 30 WARRANTY Validity Suomy guarantees the product for a period of two years from the purchasing date as regards conformity defects. Suomy undertakes to repair the defective product (or one of its part) or to replace it (at Suomy S.p.A.’s discretion), with no extra charge for the parts and the labor. Some colors are made using Fluo UV paints that could be subject to a normal migration phenomenon with a drop in intensity.
