When condensate IS present, water
pressure moves the ball away from the
seat.
The FCN-HVAC Air-Trap™ is used in residenal or light commercial
applicaons. It allows liquid condensate to drain from HVAC equipment
and simultaneously prevents air from entering or escaping from the
equipment. The FCN also eliminates the geyser effect caused when a
standard P-Trap dries out and condensate begins to form. The FCN
waterless trap requires less than half the height of a standard P-Trap and
operates dry except when condensate is being produced.
