Mantels constructed of non-combustible material may be installed at any height above the appliance opening; however, do NOT allow anything to hang below the top edge of the fireplace door. Minimum clearance requirements include any projections such as shelves, window sills, mantels, etc.

Align the dimpled end over the collar, adjusting the radial alignment until the four (4) locking dimples are aligned with the inlet of the four (4) inclined channels on the collar (Figure 14). 2.
