Important safeguards:
When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Never touch the hot parts of the appliance(be careful ,also the warming plate is a
hot part!),only touch the plastic parts and take the jug by the handle.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of
the coffee maker in water or other liquid.
4. Closed supervision is necessary when it is used by or near children.
5. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning, allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. The appliance has to be switched off before filling it with water, and make sure never
to overfill.
7. Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee filter.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner, return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
10. Do not use outdoors.
11. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
12. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven, because
the material can melt.
13. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn off the switch, then remove plug from wall outlet.
14. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
15. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label of the coffee maker.
16. Do not use coffee maker with a damaged outlet.
17. Any examination, repair, or adjustment for the appliance should be made by the
authorized service agent.
18. Save this instruction for future use.
