Chapter 7: SAS2 BIOS Configuration Utility
7-2 Creating a RAID 1 Volume
Follow the steps below in order to create a two-disk Integrated Mirroring (RAID 1)
volume with the SAS2 BIOS Configuration Utility. The steps begin with the A
DAPTER LIST
screen that appears when the configuration utility starts.
You can navigate through this screen, and others in the utility, by using the arrow keys
on your keyboard. Use the +/- keys or the Space bar on your keyboard to change
options. To exit a screen, and go back to the previous screen, by using the E
SC key.
1. In the ADAPTER LIST screen, select a SAS adapter and then press ENTER.
The ADAPTER PROPERTIES screen appears (Figure 7-2).
