3. Select CREATE RAID 1 VOLUME.
The CREATE NEW VOLUME screen appears (Figure 7-4).
4. Move the cursor to the RAID D
ISK column and select a line that has a No entry in
this column, indicating that the disk is not already part of the volume being created.
To add the disk to the new volume, change the N
O to Yes by pressing the space bar.
This is the Primary disk in the volume.
5. Move the cursor to another line and press the space bar to add the second disk to
the volume.
This is the Secondary disk in the volume.

NOTE: If any of the disks contains data that you want to keep, back it up before
you start creating the volume. The utility deletes all data from a disk when you
select it to use in a mirrored volume.
