5. Move the cursor to another line and press the space bar to add another disk to the
volume.
If you select an odd number of disks, the SAS2 BIOS Configuration Utility creates
an Integrated Mirroring Enhanced volume. If you select an even number of disks, it
creates an Integrated Mirroring and Striping volume. As you add disks, the V
OLUME
S
IZE field changes to reflect the size of the new volume.
6. Press C to create the volume.
A menu screen appears (see Figure 7-5).
7. From the menu options, select S
AVE CHANGES then exit this menu.
A Processing message appears briefly, and then the SAS2 BIOS Configuration
Utility returns to the A
DAPTER PROPERTIES screen. Initialization of the new volume
continues in the background.
8. From the A
DAPTER PROPERTIES screen, select VIEW EXISTING VOLUME.
The VIEW VOLUME screen appears (Figure 7-8). Use this screen to view your volume
details and review it for correctness.

NOTE: To create a second Integrated Mirroring Enhanced or Integrated
Mirroring and Striping volume, repeat the instructions above.
