Hand-Off support. When enabled, the EHCI Interface will be changed from the BIOS-
controlled to the OS-controlled. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
HDA Controller
Select Enabled to activate the onboard High-De nition Audio controller. The options
are Enabled and Disabled.
Front_Side Audio Mode
Use this feature to select Front Side Audio Mode. Select HD Audio to enable HD
(High-De nition) Audio support. Select AC' 97 to use AC' 97 Audio. The options
are HD Audio and AC' 97 Audio.
IDE/SATA Con guration
When this submenu is selected, the AMI BIOS automatically detects the presence
of the IDE devices and displays the following items:
SATA#1 Con guration
If Compatible is selected, it sets SATA#1 to legacy compatibility mode, while se-
lecting Enhanced sets SATA#1 to native SATA mode. The options are Disabled,
Compatible and Enhanced.

This feature allows the user to select the drive type for SATA#1. The options
are IDE, RAID and AHCI.
SATA#2 Con guration
Selecting Enhanced will set SATA#2 to native SATA mode. The options are Disabled,
and Enhanced.
Primary IDE Master/Slave, Secondary IDE Master/Slave, Third IDE Master,
and Fourth IDE Master
These settings allow the user to set the parameters of the IDE drives speci ed.
Hit <Enter> to activate the following submenu screen for detailed options of these
items. Set the correct con gurations accordingly.
Type
This feature allows the user to specify the type of device connected to the system.
Select Auto to allow the BIOS to automatically select the IDE type for the drive
as detected. Select ARMD for removable devices. The options are Not Installed,
Auto, CD/DVD and ARMD.
