CPU C6 Report
This setting allows you to Disable or Enable the CPU C3 (ACPI C2)
report to the OS. It is recommended that this setting be enabled.
Enhanced Halt State
(C1E)
Use this setting to enable the Enhanced C1E State of the CPU. This
only takes effect after a reboot of the system. Options include
Enabled or Disabled.
CPU T State Control This sub-menu allows you to configure CPU T State Control settings.
ACPI T-States
Use this setting to Enable or Disable CPU throttling by the OS in
order to reduce power consumption.
Socket RAPL Config
This sub-menu allows you to configure Socket RAPL Configuration
settings.
FAST_RAPL_NSTRIKE_P
L2_DUTY_CYCLE
This setting provides you a
FAST_RAPL_NSTRIKE_PL2_DUTY_CYCLE value between 25
(10%) - 64 (25%). Use the “+” or “-” key on your keyboard’s number
pad to select a value.
Turbo Pwr Limit Lock
Use this setting to Enable or Disable the locking of the turbo
settings. When enabled, the TURBO_POWER_LIMIT MSR will be
locked and a reset will be required to unlock the register.
Long Pwr Limit Ovrd
Use this setting to Enable or Disable Long Term Power Limit
override. If this option is disabled, the BIOS will program the default
values for Long Duration Power Limit and Long Duration Time
Window settings.
Long Dur Pwr Limit
This setting is for the Turbo Mode Long Duration Power Limit (Power
Limit 1) in Watts. The value may vary from 0 to Fused value. If the
value is 0, then the fused value will be programmed. A value greater
than fused TDP value will not be programmed. Use the “+” or “-” key
on your keyboard’s number pad to select a value.
Long Dur Time Window
This setting is for the Long Duration Time Window (Power Limit 1)
value in seconds. The value may vary from 0 to 56, with the default
being 1. This setting indicates the time window over which the TDP
value should be maintained. If the value is 0, the Fused value will be
programmed. Use the “+” or “-” key on your keyboard’s number pad
to select a value.
Pkg Clmp Lim1
This setting is for the Packaging Clamping Limit1. You may specify
the value to be between P1 and P0 or Below P1 for this setting.
Short Dur Pwr Limit En
Use this setting to Enable or Disable the Short Duration Power Limit
(Power Limit 2).
Short Dur Pwr Limit
Use this setting to specfiy the Short Duration Power Limit (Power
Limit 2) value in Watts. The value may vary from 0 to 32767. Use the
+” or “-” key on your keyboard’s number pad to select a value.
If the value is 0, the BIOS will program this value as 125%*TDP. The
processor applies the control policies such that the package power
does not exceed this limit.
Pkg Clmp Lim2
This setting is for the Packaging Clamping Limit2. You may specify
the value to be between P1 and P0 or Below P1 for this setting.
