DCU IP Prefetcher
Select Enabled for DCU (Data Cache Unit) IP Prefetcher support, which will prefetch
IP addresses to improve network connectivity and system performance. The options
are Enabled and Disabled.

Virtualization Technology (Available when supported by the CPU)
Select Enabled to support Intel Virtualization Technology, which will allow one
platform to run multiple operating systems and applications in independent
partitions, creating multiple "virtual" systems in one physical computer. The options
are Enabled and Disabled.
Note: If there is any change to this setting, you will need to power off and restart
the system for the change to take effect. Please refer to Intel’s website for detailed
information.)
XCPU Power Management Con guration
This submenu allows the user to con gure the following CPU Power Management
settings.
Power Technology
Select Energy Ef cient to support power-saving mode. Select Custom to
customize system power settings. Select Disabled to disable power-saving
settings. The options are Disabled, Energy Ef cient, and Custom. If the option
is set to Custom, the following items will display:
EIST (Available when Power Technology is set to Custom)
EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) allows the system to automatically
adjust processor voltage and core frequency to reduce power consumption and
heat dissipation. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Turbo Mode (Available when Power Technology is set to Custom and
EIST is Enabled)
Select Enabled to use the Turbo Mode to boost system performance. The options
are Enabled and Disabled.
C1E (Available when Power Technology is set to Custom)
Select Enabled to enable Enhanced C1 Power State to boost system
performance. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
