Chapter 1: Introduction
Onboard Controllers/Ports
One Fast UART 16550 serial port, one 9-pin RS-232 port and a Mellonox
Connect-X3 Infi niBand (on 6017TR-TQF and 6017TR-TFF servers only) supporting
a single QSFP connector are located on the serverboard. The color-coded I/O ports
include one COM port, a VGA (monitor) port, two USB 2.0 ports (additional one
internal USB Type-A connector is included on the serverboard), an IPMI dedicated
LAN port and two Ethernet ports.

Graphics Controller
The X9DRT-IBQF/IBFF/F features an integrated Matrox G200eW Video Controller.
Infi niBand
The 6017TR-TQF server include a QDR (quad data rate) speed Infi niBand QSFP
connector. The 6017TR-TFF server includes a FDR (fourteen data rate) speed
Infi niBand QSFP connector. Infi niBand is a scalable serial communications link
intended for connecting processors with high-speed peripherals.
Other Features
Other onboard features that promote system health include onboard voltage
monitors, a chassis intrusion header, auto-switching voltage regulators, chassis and
CPU overheat sensors, virus protection, node manager software and BIOS rescue.
