Serial Ports
The COM1 serial port is located beside
the VGA port. Refer to the serverboard
layout for the location of the COM2
header. See the table on the right for
pin de nitions.

In niBand Connection
Both the X9DRT-IBQF and
X9DRT-IBFF serverboards have an
onboard In niBand (IB) connector,
which is located on the rear IO panel
on the serverboard. The IB switch is
primarily used for High-performance
computing. See the table on the right
for pin de nitions.

Fan Headers
This serverboard has three system/CPU
fan headers (Fan 1, Fan 3, and Fan 4)
on the serverboard. All these 4-pin fans
headers are backward compatible with
the traditional 3-pin fans. The fan speeds
are controlled by rmware management
via IPMI interface. See the table on the
right for pin de nitions.
