5-11 Onboard Indicators
LAN LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located beside the
VGA port) have two LEDs. On each
port, the yellow LED ashes to indi-
cate activity while the other LED may
be green, amber or off to indicate the
speed of the connection. See the table
on the right for the functions associ-
ated with the connection speed LED.

Onboard Power LED (LE1)
An Onboard Power LED is located at
LE1. This LED Indicator is lit when
the system is on. Be sure to unplug
the power cable before removing or
adding any components. See the table
on the right for more details.
IPMI Dedicated LAN LEDs
An additional IPMI Dedicated LAN is
also located on the I/O backplane.
The amber LED on the right indicates
activity, while the green LED on the
left indicates the speed of the connec-
tion. See the table at right for more
information.

BMC Heartbeat LED
A BMC Heartbeat LED is located at

Rear UID LED
The rear UID LED is designated LE2.
This LED is used in conjunction with
the rear UID switch to provide easy
identi cation of a system.
