Fan Headers
The X7DB3 has six chassis/system fan head-
ers (Fan1 to Fan6) and two CPU Fans (Fan7
and Fan8). (*Note: Fans#1-4 are 3-pin fans.
Fans#5-8 are 4-pin fans. However, Pins 1-3
of the fan headers are backward compatible
with the traditional 3-pin fans.) See the table on
the right for pin defi nitions. (*The onboard fan
speeds are controlled by Thermal Management
under Hardware Monitoring in the Advanced
Setting in the BIOS
. Note: Default: Disabled,
When using Thermal Management setting,
please use all 3-pin fans or all 4-pin fans on
the motherboard.)

4 PWR Modulation
Keylock
The keyboard lock connection is designated
JK1. Utilizing this header allows you to inhibit
any actions made on the keyboard, effectively
"locking" it.
