Manually setting up the LAN connection
You can connect an individual computer to the WiFi Range Extender
using a network cable.
1. Plug the supplied network cable into the computer and WiFi
Range Extender.
2. To check that the computer is connected to the network click on
computer and Start and select System Controls. Open “Network
and Release Centre” and check that you are connected to the
network.
Installation of WLAN connection using the
WPS button
If the WLAN adaptor of the computer contains a WPS button for quick
configuration, it can also be used to set up the wireless connection to
the WiFi Range Extender:
1. Start the computer.
2. Hold down the WPS button on the WiFi Range Extender for at
least 6 seconds.
3. Hold down the WPS button on the WLAN adaptor of the computer
for at least 2 to 3 seconds.
4. Once the connection has been established, click on “End”
on the Computer.
