Maximize battery life during exercise
Suunto 7 is ideal for all sorts of exercise, but battery use varies depending on your
sport – outdoor sports with GPS consume more power than training indoors. The way
you interact with your watch during exercise – check your exercise stats, browse
maps or use other features on your watch – aect how long the battery will last during
your exercise.
To maximize the battery life of your watch during exercise, try the solutions below.
Stay in low-power mode
During exercise, Suunto Wear app automatically switches the display to a low-power
mode after 10 seconds of inactivity. To save more power, you can return to low-power
mode more quickly by turning your wrist away from you right after checking your
stats. Your exercise recording continues uninterrupted.
NOTE: Low-power mode does not aect the accuracy of your exercise data.
