EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE LA INSTALACIÓN:
• Permita que los paneles ajusten a la temperature del cuarto (65 grados hasta 90
grados) por un mínimo de seis horas
• Apague las reservas del agua caliente y frío, quite los mangos de los grifos,
escudos, pitones para llenar y todos los accesorios fijados a la pared que se
cubrirán (por ejemplo barra para toallas, platillos para jabón, etcetera).
• Emplee martillero y escoplo para quitar los objetos pegados a las paredes. No es nece-
sario quitar los viejos azulejos si están bien pegados. Se pueden cubrir con este kit.
• Es necesario quitar los azulejos cerámicos sueltos y lijar las subparedes hasta que
estén lisas.
• Se puede reajustar los azulejos cerámicos del borde delantero para aparencias.

WINDOW TRIM KIT
Model WTK-1
(not part of RM-58, HA-58, or GN-58 Bathtub Wall
Kit –– available through your dealer)
This high-gloss Window Trim Kit is designed to
eliminate unsightly sills, decorate and make
waterproof the left and right jambs, plus provide
a waterproof-natural draining sill.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
• Allow panels to adjust to room temperatures (65º to 90º) for at least 6 hours.
• Turn off hot and cold water supply, remove faucet handles, escutcheons, filler
spouts and any fittings mounted to the wall that will be covered i.e. towel bars,
soap dishes, etc.
• Use hammer and chisel to remove objects cemented to walls. Old ceramic tiles,
if solidly adhered to walls, may be covered with this kit and need not be removed.
• Loose ceramic tiles must be removed and sub walls sanded smooth.
• Front edge ceramic tiles may be reset for appearance only. See “wall surface
preparation recommendations” on previous page.
INSPECT ALL PANELS BEFORE INSTALLATION FOR DAMAGE
THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED IN HANDLING OR TRANSIT.
READ ALL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING.
TRIAL FIT PANELS PRIOR TO FINAL INSTALLATION.
1. Trial Fit BEFORE YOU START.
If the end of the tub has settled, or
walls are out of plumb, it may be
necessary to file the bottom edge of
a given panel to achieve a good fit
across the top.
Measure location of plumbing outlets
from the back wall forward and from
the top ledge of tub upward, then
mark the position on the proper end
panel.
2. Use a drill and a hole cutting bit, or
a hole saw. Cut holes 1/2" larger
than the diameter of the pipes. Drill
or cut from finished side of the end
panel. For best results place scrap
wood beneath hole to be cut. This
will give you a clean-cut opening.
3. TRIAL FIT each end panel before
proceeding. It is important that they
fit properly along the top edge to
maintain a watertight seal.
The back panel is slightly taller than
the end panels for this reason.
4. Prepare to apply either end panel to
wall. Apply adhesive to back, (follow
pattern show in illustration) adding
a circle of same around the drilled
holes. Keep all adhesive 1" away
from factory-applied tape.
KIT DE REBORDE DE VENTANA

alto eliminar alféizares feos, adornar y hacer
impermeables las jambas del izquierdo y derecho

1. Haga La Prueba Si Cabe ANTES DE
COMENZAR.
Si se ha asentado el extremo de la
bañera o las paredes no están a
plomo, se puede necesitar limar el
borde al fondo de un panel para
acabar con buena posición arriba.
Mida la locación de las salidas de
plomeria de la pared de atrás hacía
adelante y del alféizar más arriba y
indique la posición en el apropiado
panel al extremo.
2. Emplee taladro y roca para cortar el
agujero o sierra de agujos. Corte los
agujeros de 1/2"más grandes que el
diámetro de los tubos. Taladre o
corte del lado al extremo del panel.
Por mejores resultados, meta el
pedazo de madera debajo del agujero
anticipado para proveer una apertura
bien definida.
3. HAGA LA PRUEBA SI CABE cada panel
del extremo antes de continuar. Es
importante que quepan bien por el
borde arriba para cerrar herméti-
camente.
El panel delantero es un poco más
alto que los paneles al extremo por
esta razón.
4. Prepare para aplicar cualquier panel
al extremo a la pared. Aplique el
adhesivo a la parte detrás (siga el
diseño en la ilustración) añadiendo
un círculo del adhesivo en los
alrededores de los agujeros ya
taladrados. No permita que el
adhesivo llegue dentro de 1" de la
cinta aplicada por la fábrica.
