5. Evenly space six 5/4" x 6" x 30" rails between
the posts of the unit as indicated in Fig. 14.
Attach the rails to the support using two 8D
galvanized nails per joint.
6. Place five 5/4" x 6" x 30" rails on the side of
the kit with the center post. As indicated in
Fig. 14, evenly space two rails on one side of
the center post and three on the other side.
Attach the rails to the supports using two 8D
galvanized nails per joint.
7. In the two locations indicated in Fig. 15,
evenly space three 5/4" x 6" x 30" rails
between the corner posts and 2" x 4"
uprights. Attach the rails to the support using
two 8D galvanized nails per joint.
E. Roof Assembly
1. Attach a 2" x 4" x 57" board on top of a 2" x
4" x 34" and 2" x 4" x 32" posts using two
16D galvanized nails per joint. Note: Boards
should form a flush joint (see Fig. 16).
2. Center the roof support assembly to the unit
and attach as shown in Fig. 16 using four
10D galvanized nails. Note: The 2" x 4" x 32"
board will butt next to the 4" x 4" center post.
3. Place the roof over the support. Attach one
side using three tarp washers and wood
screws (see Fig. 17). Stretch the roof tight
and secure the other side with the remaining
tarp washers and wood screws.
