OPERATING YOUR NEW PC-300
INTENDED USE
This machine is designed for moving objects and other materials normally moved by a
wheelbarrow.
The three-speed transaxle system with engagement bail and forward/reverse
control delivers smooth steady performance.
The dump latch allows for easy dumping and offers a spring-loaded return of the
latch mechanism when the bed is returned from the dump position.
The PC-300 is designed to carry 300 pounds- DO NOT EXCEED
MANUFACTURER’S SET WEIGHT LIMIT!
Assembly of PC 300
Remove PC300 from crate. Be careful not to damage the idler cable (item 31, p 8).
Align holes in handle and frame and bolt together using; (4) NB604, 3/8 – 16 X 1”
bolt, (8) NB271, 3/8 USS washer, (4) NB182, 3/8 – 16 Nyloc nut.
Bolt bed lift handle to bed using; (4) NB604, 3/8 – 16 X 1 bolt, (4) NB272, 3/8 SAE
washer and (4) NB271, 3/8 USS washer, (4) NB182, 3/8 – 16 Nyloc nut. Place the
smaller washer (NB272) on the outside of the handle.
Assemble (2) NB139, ¼ - 20 hex nuts to modified J-bolts (item 26, p 8), nuts should
be tightened against the end of the bolt threads. Reference Shift Rod/Handle detail
p. 8 and secure J-bolts to the handle, shift rod weldment (item 25, p 8) and shift rod
half (item 13, p 9) using (2) NB180, ¼ - 20 Nyloc nuts.
The operation of any equipment can encounter foreign objects which could be
glasses or wide-vision safety goggles over spectacles before starting machine and
while operating such a machine.
The operation of any engine produces sound waves that are damaging to the
human ear. Ear protection is recommended.
CAUTION!
Tragic accidents can occur if the operator is not alert to the presence of
children. Children are often attracted to the machine and the hauling
activity.
Never assume that children will remain where you last saw them.
SLOPE OPERATION!
Use extra caution when operating on slopes. Operate self-propelled units
up and down slopes. There is a significant risk of overturns when
operating across slopes. If you feel uneasy on a slope then
do not
operate on it.
