Important note
Your telephone is delivered without any SIM card. You
need a SIM card to use the phone regularly.
This GSM phone is not compatible with SIM cards 3G.
Please contact your operator to make sure your SIM
card is 2G.
Starting up the phone
After having inserted the SIM card press the End Call Key
for approx. 3 s. You are requested to enter an official SOS
number. You will find the SOS numbers valid for your
country in the corresponding country directory. Enter the
according informations as requested. You can programm
other personal emergency numbers (see chapter “Emer-
gency call function”).
If necessary enter then the PIN and press the Call key.
The phone will go to idle state.
Press , select Settings, Phone Settings, Clock Set-
tings, Set time or Set date and confirm each by pressing
the Call key. Enter the time and date and confirm each by
pressing the Call key. Press the End Call Key briefly - the
phone will go to idle state.
Safety Information
Intended use
This telephone is designed for use when connected to a
mobile phone network. Any other use is considered unin-
tended use. Unauthorised modification or reconstruction is
not permitted. Under no circumstances open the device or
complete any repair work yourself.
Hearing Safety
Listen to the radio at a moderate volume.
Extended high-volume listening can cause per-
manent hearing loss.
