8 Telephoning Using Skypet
Information on Skypet
The services offered by Skype currently range from simple Internet telephony
up to complete availability in and out of conventional and mobile communication
networks and voicemail facilities.
SkypeIn: You receive your own Skype telephone number. This ensures you can
be reached from conventional and mobile communication networks via the
Skype connection.
SkypeVoicemail: If you cannot be accessed directly, calls are recorded and you
can play them back later.
SkypeOut: You can make calls to conventional and mobile communication net-
works from the Skype connection.
All the necessary information regarding registration for these services
and any costs involved as well as explanations on operating Skype
is available in the Skype application menus.
