Problems Solutions
Following a charge time of 14
hours, the icon remains un-
changed in the display
− The rechargeable batteries are empty or
defective.
− Place the handset in the base station
properly. Clean the contact surfaces on
the handset and base station with a soft,
dry cloth.
Display is dark − Caused by exposure to direct sunlight.
Allow the handset to cool down.
The caller number display (CLIP)
does not function
− The caller number display function is an
optional service offered by telephone
network providers. Contact your network
provider for further information.
− The caller has suppressed the transmis-
sion of their phone number.
The answering machine does
not take calls
− Ensure that the base station is connec-
ted correctly.
− Check whether the answering machine
memory is full. Delete messages from
the memory, if necessary.
No remote access functions can
be executed
− Check that the correct security code has
been entered for the remote access.
− The telephone to be used for remote ac-
cess must be set to tone dialling.
