6 Answering Machine
All the functions provided on the answering machine can be operated via the handset.
Some functions can also be controlled directly on the base station.
The answering machine is equipped with a vocal operator guidance. Observe
the instructions and information provided.
Setting the language
The language spoken by the answering machine’s voice output can be set to French or
German.
Open the main menu

Setting the date and time
The date and time of receipt is announced when each message is played back. Setting

Switching the answering machine on/off
The answering machine can be switched on and off either directly on the base station or
via the handset.

Maximum recording time
The answering machine can store up to 59 messages. The maximum recording time is
12 minutes. When there is no memory capacity available to record new messages, no
further messages are recorded.
Setting the maximum message length
The maximum length of a message can be set to 1 or 4 minutes.
