Telefon in Betrieb nehmen Basisstation anschließen Achtung: Stellen Sie die Basisstation mit einem Mindestabstand von 1 m zu anderen elektronischen Geräten auf, da es sonst zu gegenseitigen Störungen kommen kann. Schließen Sie die Basisstation wie auf der Skizze abgebildet an. Verwenden Sie aus Sicherheitsgründen nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil sowie das beigefügte Telefonanschlusskabel.
Telefon in Betrieb nehmen Gürtelclip anbringen Drücken Sie den Gürtelclip an die obere Rückseite des Mobilteils, bis er an den Seiten hörbar einrastet. Akkus aufladen 3 Stellen Sie das Mobilteil bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme für mindestens 14 Stunden in die Basisstation / Ladestation. Haben Sie das Mobilteil richtig in die Basisstation / Ladestation gestellt, leuchtet die Ladekontrollleuchte. Das Mobilteil erwärmt sich beim Laden. Dies ist normal und ungefährlich.

Sie können auch während einer bestehenden Verbindung beliebig viele Nummern aus dem Rufnummernspeicher übertragen und zusätzlich mit manuell eingegebenen Nummern kombinieren.

Befinden sich neue Nachrichten auf Ihrem Anrufbeantworter, wird Ihr Anruf bereits nach 2 Tonrufen angenommen. Wurden keine Nachrichten aufgezeichnet, wird Ihr Anruf erst nach 5 Tonrufen angenommen.
Anrufbeantworter Ansagemodus wählen 16 Ihr Anrufbeantworter stellt Ihnen zwei voreingestellte Ansagetexte zur Verfügung. Nach dem Ansagetext 1 kann eine Nachricht hinterlassen werden. Bei Ansagetext 2 handelt es sich um eine Nur−Ansage, nach der keine Nachricht hinterlassen werden kann. Sie können beide Ansagetexte durch eigene Texte ersetzen. Ist der Speicher des Anrufbeantworters voll, wird automatisch Ansagetext 2 wiedergegeben.
Anrufbeantworter Aufgezeichnete Nachrichten abhören / löschen 17 Nachrichten abhören Die aufgezeichneten Nachrichten werden in der Reihenfolge wiedergegeben, in der sie eingegangen sind. Der Wochentag und die Uhrzeit werden vor dem Abspielen der jeweiligen Nachricht oder des Memos genannt.
Anrufbeantworter Die Fernabfrage 18 Sie können Ihren Anrufbeantworter anrufen, um Nachrichten abzuhören und weitere Funktionen durchzuführen. Voraussetzung dafür ist ein Telefon mit Tonwahlfunktion. Der Sicherheitscode für die Fernabfrage Um die Fernabfrage durchzuführen, müssen Sie einen Sicherheitscode eingeben. Dieser ist werkseitig auf "321" eingestellt. 3 sec Einstellungsmodus aktivieren (Basisunterseite) x oder u, 1. Nummer ändern und bestätigen x oder u, 2.
Anrufbeantworter Tastenfunktionen der Fernabfrage 19 Die Fernabfrage wird automatisch abgebrochen, wenn innerhalb von 10 Sekunden keine Eingabe erfolgt. Die Tastenfunktionen sind abhängig davon, in welchem Modus Sie sich befinden. Die folgende Tabelle verschafft Ihnen eine Übersicht über die jeweiligen Funktionen der einzelnen Tasten.

Nebenstellenanlagen / Zusatzdienste Rufnummernanzeige (CLIP1) Die Rufnummernanzeige ist ein Zusatzdienst Ihres Netzbetreibers. Fragen Sie Ihren Netzbetreiber nach weiteren Informationen. Wenn diese Funktion an Ihrer Telefonleitung zur Verfügung steht, wird Ihnen bereits die Rufnummer des Anrufers angezeigt, wenn das Telefon klingelt. Hat der Anrufer das Übertragen seiner Rufnummer unterdrückt, wird eine entsprechende Meldung angezeigt.

Rufnummern speichern 2 sec D M, D M 0 bis 9 Speichermodus aktivieren Rufnummer (max. 25 Stellen) eingeben und bestätigen Speicherplatz auswählen Belegte Speicherplätze werden beim Speichern von neuen Rufnummern überschrieben.
Anrufliste 10 Anrufliste Insgesamt werden 20 Rufnummern in einer Anrufliste gespeichert. Die Rufnummernanzeige ist ein optionaler Service Ihres Netzbetreibers. Ihr Telefon zeigt die Rufnummern im Display, wenn Ihr Netzbetreiber diesen Service anbietet. Bitte fragen Sie Ihren Netzbetreiber nach weiteren Informationen. Steht dieser Service nicht zur Verfügung, werden eingehende Anrufe nicht im Display angezeigt.

Telephoning Chain dialling Chain dialling is used to link and transmit numbers to make use of telephone services such as telephone banking, call−by−call or calling card procedures. Open the phone number memory and select the locations containing the numbers for transmission in succession or combine them with manually entered numbers.

Setting the weekday and time 89 The weekday and time of receipt is announced when each message is played back.
Answering Machine Setting the number of rings (answering delay) You can select from 2 to 9 ringing tones or the Tollsaver setting for pre−remote access free of charge. The toll−saving, pre−remote access feature can be used to check whether new messages have been received on your answering machine from a distant telephone. If your call is taken after 2 rings, there are new messages on the answering machine. If no new messages have been recorded, the call is taken after 5 rings.
Answering Machine Selecting the answering mode 91 The answering machine is provided with two pre−recorded outgoing messages (OGM 1 and OGM 2). After OGM 1 has been played, the caller can leave a message. OGM 2 is purely an answer only announcement after which no message can be left. Both outgoing messages can be replaced by ones of your own. When the answering machine memory is full, OGM 2 is automatically played.
Answering Machine Playing/Deleting recorded messages 92 Playing back messages The recorded messages are played back in the sequence they were recorded. The weekday and time of recording are announced before the respective message or memo is played back.
Answering Machine Remote access 93 You can call your answering machine from another telephone to play messages or execute other functions. A condition is that you use a telephone which implements tone dialling. PIN code for remote access In order to use the remote access function, you must enter the relevant security PIN code. The code set at the factory is 321".
Answering Machine Function assignment to buttons for remote access 94 Every remote access process is automatically cancelled if there is no input within 10 seconds. The functions assigned to the buttons are dependent on the mode currently activated. The following table provides an overview of the respective functions assigned to the individual buttons.
PABX / Supplementary Services 7 PABX / Supplementary Services R−button on private branch exchanges If the telephone is connected to a private branch exchange, all the functions associated with the R−button, such as transferring calls, automatic call back, etc., can be used. Refer to the operating manual provided with your private branch exchange as to which Recall time (Flash time) must be set in order to use these functions.
PABX / Supplementary Services Caller number display (CLIP1) The caller number display function is a supplementary service offered by telephone network providers. Contact your network provider for further information. If this function is available with your telephone line, the number of the caller appears in the display when the phone rings. If the caller has suppressed transmission of his phone number, the corresponding message appears in the display.

Calls Log 10 Calls Log A total of 20 calls can be stored in the calls log. The caller number display function is an optional service offered by telephone network providers. The caller number appears in the display if the service is offered by your telephone network provider. Contact your network provider for further information. If this service is not offered, the incoming calls are not displayed.
Special Functions 11 Special Functions Dialling mode The telephone can be operated in analogue exchanges (PULSE) as well as in new, digital exchanges (TONE/DTMF). Temporary tone dialling If you only operate the telephone using the PULSE dialling mode, you can still make use of the advantages of TONE dialling mode (e.g.: remote access of the answering machine in the telephone network). During a call, you can temporarily switch to Tone dialling.
Extending the telephone system 12 Extending the telephone system The internationally approved GAP1 standard regulates the compatibility of handsets and base stations from different manufacturers. As a result, it is possible to integrate SWITEL devices and devices from other manufacturers together in one telephone system. It is possible, however, that some functions are not available. Multiple handsets Up to 5 handsets can be registered on the base station.
Extending the telephone system Multiple base stations You can increase the range of your handset by registering it on several base stations. It can be simultaneously registered on up to 4 different base stations. Each base station requires its own telephone line socket. Connections can be used with the same call number or with different ones. Calls in progress cannot be transferred from one base station to another.
