13 Settings
13.1 Default settings handset

The handset and base station can be reset to their default settings.
Refer to Section 7.3 for the procedure to do this.
Please note that, on resetting the default settings, the entries in the phone
book, calls list and phone numbers in the redialling list are deleted!
13.3 PIN code
The PIN code can contain up to four digits. The default setting of the PIN code is "0000".
If you change a PIN code, keep a note of the new PIN code in a safe place.
13.4 Recall times
The recall time determines the duration of a tone which is produced by pressing a button
on the telephone. In order that your telephone system can function properly, it may be
necessary to adapt the recall time (flash time).
There are two recall times available for selection in order to use functions in private
branch exchanges or supplementary services offered by your telephone network provi-
der (also refer to Sections 2.7 and 2.9). You can select between a recall time of 90 ms
(default setting) and 250 ms. The procedure to set the recall times is described in Section
7.3 (also refer to section 13.1).
13.5 Handset name
An individual name can be programmed for the handset.
It can comprise up to 10 characters.
