Faults Corrective measures
The answering ma-
chine does not take
calls
− Ensure that the answering machine is connected cor-
rectly and switched on.
− Check whether the answering machine memory is full.
Delete messages from the memory, if necessary.
No memo can be re-
corded
− Check whether a memo has already been recorded.
Delete the old memo, if possible.
− Check whether the answering machine memory is full.
Delete messages from the memory, if necessary.
No remote access
functions can be ex-
ecuted
− Check that the correct security code has been entered
for the remote access.
− The telephone to be used for remote access must be
set to tone dialling.
