Assicurarsi presso il proprio gestore di rete telefonica, che l’allacciamento telefonico sia abilitato alla caratteristica funzionale richiesta.
Ampliamento del sistema telefonico 12 Ampliamento del sistema telefonico standard internazionale GAP1 Lo regola la compatibilità di unità portatili e stazioni base di costruttori differenti. In tal modo è possibile adoperare apparecchi SWITEL in combinazione con apparecchi di altri costruttori all’interno di un unico sistema telefonico. Può comunque anche verificarsi la mancata disponibilità di alcune funzioni.
Segreteria telefonica verificare gratuitamente la presenza di nuovi messaggi sulla propria segreteria telefonica. Se ci sono messaggi nuovi sulla segreteria telefonica, l’apparecchio accetta la telefonata dopo massimo 3 segnalazioni di chiamata. Se non ci sono messaggi nuovi sulla segreteria telefonica, l’apparecchio accetta la telefonata solo dopo 6 segnalazioni di chiamata. Riagganciare prima del 6 squillo. In tal modo si evita l’addebito di scatti telefonici.

Phone Book 8 Phone Book You can use the phone book to store up to 250 phone numbers together with the associated names. The phone book entries are arranged alphabetically. To access the required phone book entry directly, press the first letters of the corresponding name. Entering names Letters are also imprinted on the digit keys. Letters, digits and special characters are entered by pressing the relevant key the respective number of times.

Special Functions 10 Special Functions Dialling mode The telephone can be operated in analogue exchanges (PULSE mode) as well as new, digital exchanges (TONE/DTMF mode). SMS − Text Messages 11 SMS − Text Messages Your telephone has already been prepared to send SMS text messages. Service centre numbers are already programmed in the handset. Activate the required Service Centre in the SMS menu Page 96. Conditions for using SMS The telephone connection must be equipped with the CLIP1 feature. Contact your telephone network provider to ensure this feature is enabled on your telephone connection. To use the SMS2 service, your telephone network provider must enable it.
Extending the Telephone System 12 Extending the Telephone System internationally approved GAP1standard regulates the compatibi- The lity of handsets and base stations from different manufacturers. As a result, it is possible to integrate SWITEL devices and equipment from other manufacturers together in one telephone system. It is possible, however, that some functions are not available. Multiple handsets Up to 5 handsets can be registered on the base station.
Answering Machine If new messages have been recorded on your answering machine, your call is taken after 3 rings at the latest. If no new message have been recorded on your answering machine, your call is taken after 6 rings. End the call before the 6th ring. This means that no charges ensue. For further information on remote access, refer to Page 108. Taking a call being recorded It is possible to take a call even if the answering machine has already begun to take it.
