This chapter provides basic information on using the operating in-
struction manual and the telephone.

Display Description
 Displays the contour of buttons
 Press the button depicted briefly
3 sec.  Press the button depicted for 3 seconds
hold  Press and hold the button depicted
release  Release the button depicted
 Enter digits or letters
 Handset rings
 Base station rings
 Remove the handset from the base station
 Place the handset in the base station

Displays current battery charge capacity
Alarm function is activated

network.

interrupted. Move nearer to the base station.
