9 Setting the telephone
Setting the ringer for the handset
Menu Press the Menu softkey.
/ Select Sounds and press OK.
/ Select Ringer and press OK.
/ Select one of the following options and confirm with OK:
External Select a melody for external calls.
Internal Select a melody for internal calls.
Ring volume Select the volume. If you select “Off“ the respective icon
appears in the display.
Silence Select “Beep“ if you want to hear a short beep in case of an
incoming call even if the ring volume is set to off.
Setting the alert tones
Menu Press the Menu softkey.
/ Select Sounds and press OK.
/ Select Tones and press OK.
/ Select one of the following options and confirm with OK:
Key beeps Switch the keytone on or off.
Confirmation Switch the confirmation tone for a successful programming on
or off.
Battery low Switch the alert tone on or off. The tone sounds if “Low bat-
tery“ is detected.
No coverage Switch the alert tone on or off. The tone sounds if “Out of
range“ is detected.
