Answering Machine

Remote access
You can call your answering machine from another telephone to play messages or execute
other functions. A condition is that you use a telephone which implements tone dialling. The
remote access function must be activated;  Page 25.
PIN code for remote access
The default setting of the PIN code is 0000". It is recommended to change the default PIN
code 0000". Changing the PIN code;  Page 25.
Starting remote access
 Dial your own phone number
,  While the OGM is playing, press the button
and enter the PIN code
The connection is automatically interrupted after entering the wrong code
three times.
You now have the opportunity of executing other functions;  Function assignment to but-
tons for remote access.
Remote activation of the answering machine
 Dial your own phone number
If you forgot to switch your answering machine on, your call is taken after
10 rings.
,  While the OGM is playing, press the button
and enter the PIN code
) Switch the answering machine on or
* Switch the answering machine off
You can now execute other functions.
Function assignment to buttons for remote access
Every remote access process is automatically cancelled if there is no input within
8 seconds.
The following table provides an overview of the respective functions assigned to the indivi-
dual buttons.
