Operating via the handset
Switching the answering machine on/off
Menu Press the Menu softkey.
/ Select Answer machine and press OK.
/ Select Answer on/off and press OK.
/ Select On or Off and press OK.
The display icon appears if the answering machine is turned
on.
Recording outgoing message
Menu Press the Menu softkey.
/ Select Answer machine and press OK.
/ Select Outgoing msg. and press OK.
/ Select Record message and press OK.
/ Select Answer only for the “answer-only mode“ or
Ans & Rec for the “answer and record-mode“ and press OK.
Speak your message to the handset’s microphone and press
Save at the end of the recording. Playback of your outgoing
message will start.
Playback outgoing message
Menu Press the Menu softkey.
/ Select Answer machine and press OK.
/ Select Outgoing msg. and press OK.
/ Select Play message and press OK.
/ Select Answer only for the “answer-only mode“ or
Ans & Rec for the “answer and record-mode“ and press OK.
Playback of the outgoing message will start.
☞ If you want to delete your personal outgoing message press Delete during
playback. The preset outgoing messages cannot be deleted.
