13. Basic Functions in the Setup Menu of the
Surveillance Cameras
a) General
The surveillance cameras also have a comprehensive setup menu. The control lever used for operation is located in
the surveillance camera's connection cable. Different settings can be made in the setup menu.
Tocallthesetupmenu,activateasubmenuorconrmasetting,brieypushthecontrollever(likeaconventional
button).
The control lever can be moved in four directions to set a function or change a setting (see label next to the button):
"L" Brieymovethecontrollevertotheleft
"R" Brieymovethecontrollevertotheright
"UP" Brieymovethecontrolleverup
"DOWN" Brieymovethecontrolleverdown
A circle symbol (" ") indicates where you are in the menu.
b) Call/Leave the Setup Menu, Save Settings
Brieypushthecontrollevertocallthesetupmenu.The
setup menu is displayed in the screen image; see exam-
plegureontheright.
Tosaveallsettings,select"SAVE"andthenbrieypush
the control lever.
Toleavethesetupmenu,select"EXIT"andthenbriey
push the control lever. The setup menu display will then
disappear from the screen.
After leaving the setup menu without saving the settings with "SAVE", they will be lost if the power supply
is disconnected or a power outage occurs!
 Therefore,donotforgettoselect"SAVE"rstbeforeleavingthesetupmenuandconrmbybrieypushing
the control lever. Then all settings made are retained when the power fails. Then you can leave the setup
menu via "EXIT".
c) Select Menu Items/Function/Settings
• Bymovingthecontrolleverup,down,totheleftorrightbriey,youcanselecttheindividualmenuitems,functions
or settings.
• Toconrmaselection,brieypushthecontrollever(asifitwasanormalbutton).
• The menu item "NEXT" can be used to switch to the next page; "BACK" returns you to the previous page.
