"DEF COLOR" Set the colour for covering the image areas; 15 different colours are available. Ob-
serve that the colours are displayed grey in black/white display of the camera image
(e.g.atnight)!
"SELECT" Select one of the 4 image areas here. Then you can switch the chosen image area
on and off with the "SWITCH" function. You can place it on the camera picture in the
function "RANGE".
"SWITCH" Switchcoveragefortheimageareachosenin"SELECT"(seeabove)"ON"or"OFF"
here.
"RANGE" Afterselectingthefunctionandconrmingwithabriefpushofthecontrollever,you
can select the image area to be covered.
Movethecornerwiththecontrollever(moveitup,down,leftorright),andconrm
yoursettingbybrieypushingthecontrollever.
In image area 1, every corner can be placed separately; image areas 2, 3 and 4 are
placed as a rectangle.

Permanentlybrightimageareasmay"burnin"evenonmodernatscreensifshownforaverylongtime.
Therefore,youcanchooseifsuchbrightimageareas(e.g.whenthesurveillancecameraispointedatbright
lamps or against the sun) should be concealed here.
When using plasma screens or old tube monitors, this process often takes only a few months.
If you use one of these screens, you should always activate this setting!
"MODE" When choosing "ON", too-bright image areas are automatically masked/covered.
"BLACKNESS" Here, you can set the colour in which the too-bright image area is masked/covered
(lightgrey.....black).
