11. Troubleshooting
No camera picture (or only interference)
• Setthematchingoperatingmode;seechapter8.Thesurveillancecameracansupplyaconventional
analogue CVBS video signal or a high-resolution signal in operating modes "AHD", "CVI" and "TVI".
 Ifthewrongoperatingmodehasbeenchosen(observetheoperatinginstructionsforyourDVRorscreen
for what video signals it can process), there will either be no picture at all, or you will see only interference.
• SettheDVRorscreentothecorrectinputchannel.
• Checkthevoltage/currentsupplyofthesurveillancecamera.
• Checkthesurveillancecamera'scableconnections.
Only black/white camera image
• Checkthesettinginthesetupmenu.
• Atnight,thecamerawillautomaticallyswitchtoblack/whitedisplay(atthesametime,theIR-LEDwillbe
activated). Colour display is not possible here.
Screen too bright
• Checkthesettingsinthesetupmenu;resetthecameratofactorysettingsifrequired.
• Neverpointthecameraatthesunoralamp.
• Selectthecorrespondingsettingsinthesetupmenu,e.g.forwhitebalance,etc.
