5. Safety Notes
Read the operating instructions attentively and particularly observe the safety
notes. If the safety notes and the information in these operating instructions
regarding proper handling are not observed, we assume no liability for any re-
sulting injury/property damage. In such cases, the warranty/guarantee will also
lapse.
 • Thesurveillancecameramustonlybeconnectedtoastabiliseddirectcurrentvolt-
age of 12 V/DC. The inner contact of the low-voltage round plug must conduct
plus/+, the outer contact minus/-.
 • Theproductisnotatoy.Keepitawayfromchildrenandpets.
 • Donotleavepackagingmateriallyingaroundcarelessly.Itmaybecomeadanger-
ous toy for children.
 • Theproductissuitableforindoorandoutdooruse(IP66).However,itmustneverbe
operated in or under water; it would be destroyed by this.
 • Theconnectionplugsatthesurveillancecamera'sconnectioncablearenotwater-
proof or water-tight and therefore must be in a dry indoor area or protected accord-
ingly.
 • Ensurethattheconnectioncableisnotcrushed,bentordamagedbysharpedges.
 • Protecttheproductfromextremetemperaturesdirectsunlight,strongvibrations,
ammablegases,vapoursandsolvents.
 • Handlethe productwith care.Impact, blowsorfallsfromevenalow heightwill
damage the product.
 • Donotsubjecttheproducttomechanicalstress.
 • Alsoobservethesafetynotesandoperating instructionsoftheotherdevicesto
which the product is connected.
 • TheIRlightisnotvisibleforthehumaneye.Therefore,itisnotevidentwhetheran
IR-LED is lit or not. Due to the intensity of the installed IR-LEDs, there is a danger
of eye damage if you look at it from a short distance (<2 m).
Attention, IR LED light!
- Never look into the IR LED beam!
- Never watch directly or with optical instruments!

to supervise children or other people in need of special care. It only serves as a
