11. Troubleshooting
No camera picture (or only interference)
• Setthematchingoperatingmode;seechapter8.Thesurveillancecameracansupplyacon-
ventional analogue CVBS video signal or a high-resolution signal in operating modes "AHD",
"CVI" and "TVI".
If the wrong operating mode has been chosen (observe the operating instructions for your
DVR or screen for what video signals it can process), there will either be no picture at all, or
you will see only interference.
• SettheDVRorscreentothecorrectinputchannel.
• Checkthevoltage/currentsupplyofthesurveillancecamera.
• Checkthesurveillancecamera'scableconnections.
Only black/white camera image
• Checkthesettinginthesetupmenu.
• Atnight,thecamerawillautomaticallyswitchtoblack/whitedisplay(atthesametime,allIR
LEDs are activated). Colour display is not possible here.
Screen too bright
• Checkthesettingsinthesetupmenu;resetthecameratofactorysettingsifrequired.
• Neverpointthecameraatthesunoralamp.
• Selectthecorrespondingsettingsinthesetupmenu,e.g.forwhitebalance,etc.
