j) “Scan Mode Period” function
You can use the “ ” symbol in the OSD menu (see section 10. c), position “C” or the “ ” button (30) on the IR
remotecontroltoenable/disablescanmode.Thisfunctionallowsyoutocongurehowlongeachcameraimageis
displayed for.
When you access this function, a list of the possible time intervals is displayed (5, 10, 15, 20, 30 seconds).
Use the touchscreen (or the arrow buttons (“ ” and “ ”) and the “ ” button (28) on the IR remote control) to select
the desired duration.
Touch the “ ” symbol on the touchscreen, or press the “ ” button (31) on the IR remote control to
go back to the previous display without applying any changes.
k) “Mute” function
This function mutes the monitor/DVR speaker. Audio signals transmitted from the camera to the monitor/DVR will be
recorded as usual, but will not be played through the speaker.
Use the touchscreen (or the arrow buttons (“ ” and “ ”) and the “ ” button (28) on the IR remote control) to en-
able/disable the mute function.
Touch the “ ” symbol on the touchscreen, or press the “ ” button (31) on the IR remote control to
go back to the previous display without applying any changes.
l) “Load Default” function
This function restores all monitor/DVR settings to the factory defaults.
Use the touchscreen (or the arrow buttons (“ ” and “ ”) and the “ ” button (28) on the IR remote control) to
conrmwhetheryouwishtorestorefactorysettings.
Press the “ ” button (31) on the IR remote control to cancel the setting/selection and go back to the
previous display.
m) “Brightness” function
The brightness of the LCD backlight can be adjusted to suit the surroundings.
Use the touchscreen (or the “ ”, “ ”, “ ” and “ ” buttons on the IR remote control) to select the desired bright-
ness level.
To save the settings, touch the “ ” symbol on the touchscreen, or press the “ ” button (28) on the IR remote
control.
Press the “ ” button (31) on the IR remote control to cancel the setting and go back to the previous
display.
