13. “Record” submenu
See section 11 for instructions on how to access the main menu and the corresponding submenu.
The following functions are available:
“Scheduled Recording” Automatically record at certain times
“Motion Detection” Start a recording when movement is detected (the camera detects movement by
detecting changes in the image content)
“PIR Recording” This feature is not supported, as the wireless camera does not have a PIR sensor;
this feature is designed for another product version.
a) “Scheduled Recording” function
The monitor/DVR can be set to automatically record video at certain times of the day, e.g. at night from 00:00 to 06:00
or during the day from 08:00 to 16:00.
You can program several recording times, but the times must not overlap.
Programming/changing a recording schedule
• Whenyouselectthisoptionforthersttime,youwillbepromptedtoprogramanewschedule.Ifyouhaveprevi-
ously programmed other schedules, these will be listed on the display.
• Use the touchscreen (or the arrow buttons (“ ” and “ ”) and the “ ” button (28) on the IR remote control) to
select the desired schedule (or create a new schedule).
• When the schedule is displayed, use the touchscreen (or the arrow buttons (“ ”, “ ”, “ ” and “ ”) and the
“ ”button(28)ontheIRremotecontroltocongurethefollowingsettings:
- Choose whether to record a single camera (1, 2, 3 or 4) or all cameras
- Settherecordingtime(axeddate,workdaysonly,weekendsonly,onlyonaparticulardayoftheweek,or
every day)
- Recording start time
- Recording end time
• To save the settings, touch the “ ” symbol on the touchscreen, or press the “ ” button (28) on the IR remote
control.
Press the “ ” button (31) on the IR remote control to cancel the setting and go back to the previous
display.
Deleting a schedule
• Use the touchscreen (or the arrow buttons (“ ” or “ ”) on the IR remote control) to select the schedule that you
want to delete.
• To delete the selected schedule, touch the “ ” symbol or press the “ ” button (26) on the IR remote
control.
