14. “Playback” menu

a) Playing video recordings

See section 11 for instructions on how to access the main menu and the corresponding submenu.

• When you select this submenu, the LCD will display the video recording folders in chronological order.

If both an SD card and a USB storage device are connected to the monitor/DVR, the active storage device

is indicated by a symbol in the upper-right corner of the display (“SD Card” or “USB”). Touch the symbol to

switch between the storage devices.

Touch the “ ” symbol on the touchscreen, or press the “ ” button (31) on the IR remote control to

cancel the current selection and go back to the previous display.

• Use the touchscreen (or the “ ” and “ ” buttons on the IR remote control) to select the desired folder. The folders

are organised by date. When using the remote control, press the “ ”(28)toconrmyourselection.

• You can then select the camera (C1....C4 = camera #1....#4) whose recording you wish to view (provided that a

recording is available).

• Finally,selectthedesiredrecordingle.Thelesareorganisedchronologically,andthelesizeisdisplayed.The

menu also indicates new recordings that have not been played.

• Touch the selected recording again to start playback (alternatively, press the

“ ”

button (28) as described above).

Touchscreen controls:

Touch the arrow symbol (“ ”) in the lower-left cor-

ner of the display to display the touchscreen controls

(see right-hand image):

A Hide touchscreen controls

B Stop playback; return to the recording selection

C Start playback (or pause a recording)

D Rewind

E Fast forward

F Change image mode (fullscreen/large camera

image + 3 small camera images)

IR remote control buttons:

• Rewind/fast forward: “ ” and “ ” buttons

• Pause/resume: “ ” button (28)

• Increase/decrease volume: “ ” or “ ”

• Stop playback: “ ” (29) or “ ” (31) button

• Change the image mode: “ ” button (25)
