The camera image will not be shown if the monitor/DVR is displaying a menu. To display the camera
image(s), exit the menu on the monitor/DVR.
Video transmission will stop when you access a menu on the monitor/DVR and an error message will be
displayed on your smartphone.
Depending on the type and speed of the connection (Wi-Fi or GSM), the camera can transmit several images per
second (the speed is displayed beneath the channel number (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4)).
Important!
Video transmission consumes a large amount of data and may result in high mobile data charges.
c) Push notications
Youcansendpushnoticationstoyoursmartphonewhenmovementisdetected(whentheimagecontentchanges,
see section 13. b).
Follow the steps below:
• Enable automatic recording on the monitor/DVR (see section 13. b). If necessary, complete a test to check that the
automatic recording feature is working correctly.
• Gothenetworksettings(section12.a)andenablepushnotications.
Selecttheintervalforpushnotications(2,5,10,20or30minutes).Theshortertheinterval,themoreoftennotica-
tions will be sent to your smartphone.
Youcanalsoentertheperiodduringwhichpushnoticationscanbesent.Thispreventsunnecessarynotications
from being sent to your smartphone throughout the day.
• Exit the OSD menu on the monitor/DVR.
Images will not be transferred when the monitor/DVR is displaying a menu. To display the camera image(s),
exit the OSD menu on the monitor/DVR (see sections 10. b and 10. c).
• Launch the app on your smartphone. Select the corresponding device from the list (if you have only connected one
monitor/DVR, only one device will be displayed). Touch the “ ” symbol in the app to start playback.
• Touchthemenubuttononyoursmartphonetodisplaytheappmenu.Fromhere,youcancongurethesettings
forpushnotications.
Enter a name for the device. This name will be displayed in the device list on the monitor/DVR. Select the checkbox
toconnectthesmartphonetothemonitor/DVR,andthenconrmthesettings.Youcanthenseewhichdevicewill
receivepushnotications.
Todisablepushnotications,deletethedesireddevicefromthelistonthemonitor/DVR,ordeselecttheregistration
checkbox.
d) Capturing a screenshot on your smartphone
To capture a screenshot of the camera action, touch the camera symbol at the edge of the video display.
