e) Playing recordings from the monitor/DVR
You can access recordings on the monitor/DVR storage device (SD card or USB storage device) directly from your
smartphone.
Playback is not possible during video recordings.
Launch the app on your smartphone. Select the corresponding device from the list (if you have only connected one
monitor/DVR, only one device will be displayed). Touch the “ ” symbol in the app to start playback.
Touch the menu button on your smartphone to display the app menu, and then select the playback option. Select
the channel whose recordings you wish to view.
Afteryouconrmthechannel,alistofrecordingswillbedisplayedinchronologicalorder.Selectthedesireddate.
A list of recordings will be displayed in chronological order. Select the desired time.
The recording will be played. You can pause, rewind and fast forward the recording as desired.
18. Operation with iOS
a) Connecting the monitor/DVR to the network
Switch the monitor/DVR off and connect it to your network device (e.g. router or switch) using a 1:1 network cable.
Switch on the monitor/DVR.
Open the network settings menu (see section 12a).
Congurethesettingsforyournetwork.Ingeneral,nosettingsarerequired,becausethemonitor/DVRobtainsthe
IP address automatically (DHCP is preset) provided that your network features a DHCP server (this is the case for
most routers).
If you have disabled the DHCP server on your network and manually assigned an IP address to each device, you
will also need to assign an IP address to the monitor/DVR.
Inthepasswordentryeld,setapasswordforconnectingtotheapp.
Open the network information on the bottom line of the network settings menu. This should display the IP address
of the monitor/DVR as well as a QR code.
If this is not the case, save the settings and exit the settings menu. Switch off the monitor/DVR, wait for a
few seconds, and then switch the monitor/DVR back on.
