c) Push notications
Youcansendpushnoticationstoyoursmartphonewhenmovementisdetected(whentheimagecontentchanges,
see section 13b).
Follow the steps below:
• Enable automatic recording on the monitor/DVR (see section 13b). If necessary, complete a test to check that the
automatic recording feature is working correctly.
• Gothenetworksettings(section12a)andenablepushnotications.
Selecttheintervalforpushnotications(2,5,10,20or30minutes).Theshortertheinterval,themoreoftennotica-
tions will be sent to your smartphone.
Youcanalsoentertheperiodduringwhichpushnoticationscanbesent.Thispreventsunnecessarynotications
from being sent to your smartphone throughout the day.
• Exit the OSD menu on the monitor/DVR.
Images will not be transferred when the monitor/DVR is displaying a menu. To display the camera image(s),
exit the OSD menu on the monitor/DVR (see sections 10b and 10c).
• Launch the app on your smartphone. Select the corresponding device from the list (if you have only connected one
monitor/DVR, only one device will be displayed). Touch the “ ” symbol in the app to start playback.
• Selectoneofthecameraimagestodisplaytheappmenu,andthentouchthepushnoticationsicon.
• Enter a name for the device. This name will be displayed in the device list on the monitor/DVR. Turn on the reg-
istration switch to connect the smartphone to the monitor/DVR. You can then see which device will receive push
notications.Savethesettings.
Todisablepushnotications,deletethedesireddevicefromthelistonthemonitor/DVR,orturnofftheregistration
switch.
d) Capturing a screenshot on your smartphone
To capture a screenshot of the camera action, touch the photo symbol at the edge of the video display.
