The range is too short
Point the monitor/DVR and wireless camera antenna in a different direction.

For optimal results, the monitor/DVR and wireless camera antenna should be parallel to each other.
Check that the wireless camera and monitor/DVR antenna are securely in place. Do not swap the antenna (the
monitor/DVR antenna is larger than the wireless camera antenna).
Refer to section 20.
The recording is black and white.
At night-time, the IR LEDs turn on and recordings are made in black and white.
There is no image on the LCD display.
Switch on the monitor/DVR.
The LCD display switched itself off to save power.
Motion detection does not function properly
Motion detection works by detecting changes in the image content (see section 13b).
Advantages: Motion is always detected, regardless of the ambient temperature
Not affected by the temperature of the moving object
Disadvantages: May be triggered accidentally (e.g. by moving vegetation when the sensitivity setting is too high)
or by quick changes in brightness (e.g. sun/clouds)
This type of motion detection is different from devices that use a PIR sensor. PIR sensors react to a change in
temperature.
Use a different sensitivity setting.
Place the wireless camera in a different position.
The objects in the detection range are moving too fast.
Decrease the size of the surveillance range (see section 13b) to ensure that areas with trees, streets and other
moving objects are not monitored.
