The SD card is not recognized
• The monitor/DVR supports SD cards with a capacity of up to 128 GB.
• Themonitor/DVRonlysupportstheFATandFAT32leformat(NTFSisnotsupported).
• Format the memory card using the corresponding option on the monitor/DVR (see section 12e). Formatting the
card will delete all stored data. Depending on the size of the memory card, formatting may take a while to complete.
• Select the correct storage medium for saving recordings (either an SD card or USB storage device, see section
12f).
• Remove the memory card, and then insert it back into the monitor/DVR.
• Use a different memory card.
• Switch off the monitor/DVR, and then switch it back on.
The USB storage device is not recognized
• The monitor/DVR supports USB storage devices with a capacity of up to 3 TB.
• Themonitor/DVRonlysupportstheFATandFAT32leformat(NTFSisnotsupported).
• Format the USB storage device using the corresponding option on the monitor/DVR (see section 12e). Formatting
the storage device will delete all stored data. Depending on the size of the storage device, formatting may take a
while to complete.
• Select the correct storage medium for saving recordings (either an SD card or USB storage device, see section
12f).
• Switch off the monitor/DVR, and then switch it back on.
• If you have connected a USB hard drive, check that the hard drive is switched on.
• Try using a USB hard drive with its own power adapter. Some 6.35 cm/2.5” USB hard disks (that work without a
power adapter) require too much power (particularly during startup).
Image quality of recordings is poor
Set a higher image quality or resolution (see section 15c).
