The network does not work
Check the connection between the monitor/DVR and your router/network switch.
Before switching on the monitor/DVR, establish a network connection to the router/network switch.
Connect the monitor/DVR directly to the router (not a network switch) for test purposes.
Use a 1:1 fully-wired network cable to establish the connection.
Depending on your network, select DHCP or assign a static IP address in the network settings.
If there is a DHCP server on your network (most routers feature a built-in DHCP server), enable the DHCP function
on the monitor/DVR. The monitor/DVR will then automatically obtain an IP address from your DHCP server.
If your network uses static IP addresses, assign a new IP address to your monitor/DVR in the same address range.
If you have changed the network settings, switch off the monitor/DVR. Wait a few seconds, and then switch it back
on.

The IR remote control does not work
Replace the battery in the IR remote control. Ensure that the battery is inserted in the correct polarity.
Point the front of the IR remote control at the receiver in the monitor/DVR (the black area beneath the LCD display).
Recordings cannot be played on the computer
Use a different piece of software to play the recording.
