Safety instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of
damage caused by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume
any liability for any resulting damage! We
shall not accept liability for damage to
property or personal injury caused by non-
compliance with the safety instructions!
a) General
Very important! Make sure to read the operating
instructions before using the product.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modication of the
product is not allowed for safety and approval reasons.
Do not open/disassemble!
The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the
reach of children. Position the product so it is out of the
reach of children.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around
carelessly as it may be a danger to children.
Unless otherwise mentioned in the operating instructions,
the product may only be used in dry interiors; it must not
get damp or wet!
Unless otherwise mentioned in the operating instructions,
never position the product in direct vicinity of a bathtub,
shower, bathroom, swimming pool, or similar.
The product must not be exposed to extremes of
temperature, direct sunlight or strong vibrations. Keep
the product away from strong magnetic elds generated
by machines, electric motors or loudspeakers.
Do not operate the device in environments where there
are high levels of dust, ammable gases, vapours or
solvents. There is a danger of re and explosion!
Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions.
Radiowaves may interfere with medical equipment. The
same may also apply to other areas.
If you have any questions that are not answered by these
safety instructions, please contact our technical service
or another specialist.
b) Batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting
batteries.
Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not
used for a long period of time to avoid damage through
leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid
burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable
protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not
leave batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children
or pets swallow them.
If your device uses more than one battery, they should be
replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries
in the device can lead to battery leakage and device
damage.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or
thrown into re. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
These products can only operate in
conjuction with the Sygonix Home
Gateway (Item no. 1597115).

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and
must not be disposed of in the household
waste. At the end of its service life, dispose
of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose
of them separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law
(Battery Ordinance) to return all used
(rechargeable) batteries. Disposing of them
in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with
this symbol to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste
is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved
are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on
(rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection
points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
(rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the
protection of the environment.
